We accept Florida scholarship funds managed through the Education Management Account (EMA) portal, specifically FES-UA (Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities) and PEP (Personalized Education Program).

Once you add Theia Counseling as an approved provider in your EMA portal, you can allocate your available funds to our practice. We handle the direct invoice submission through the portal so you don't have to worry about out-of-pocket reimbursement headaches. 

Parents are encouraged to monitor their available scholarship balance within the EMA portal. If scholarship funds are exhausted or cover only a portion of services, any remaining balance can be paid out-of-pocket, including through FSA/HSA accounts. We also offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need and availability.

Yes! We provide in-person therapy and play therapy sessions at our office in Winter Park, FL, as well as secure telehealth sessions for eligible clients across Florida.

Every child is unique. Depending on your child’s age, developmental level, and cognitive or emotional needs, I may recommend play therapy, traditional counseling, or an integrative approach tailored specifically to them. We determine the best therapeutic fit based on their presenting symptoms, family concerns, and individual goals. During our initial free 15-minute consultation, we will discuss your child's needs and your family's initial concerns and answer any questions about getting started.
